Physician/Nursing/Patient Communications

Thank you for using our website to communicate with your doctor.  While the Internet is a wonderful tool, some general rules must be established before we can continue.

• Established patients of Northwest Diagnostic Clinic, PA should feel free to use e-mail for non-urgent matters (the mail is checked fairly frequently by the doctor's assistant).  However, if there is an emergency, please use the office numbers [(281) 440-5300 for all offices, or toll free (866) 333-6932], which are answered 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
• While the physicians and/or assistants are happy to answer general questions about our patients' health, our physicians make it a policy not to treat patients over the telephone or via e-mail.  Based on each patient's situation, the physician may require that the patient be seen in the office before advice can be given.
• Every patient is different, and requires individualized management by a physician who has been able to meet and examine him or her in person.  Please note that an exchange of e-mail does not constitute a doctor-patient relationship.
• E-mail correspondence is no substitute for personal medical care.  It should also be understood that many topics in medicine are controversial, and there may be several appropriate alternative approaches to a given problem.
• E-mail correspondents accept full responsibility for the use of information obtained in this manner.  No representation is made as to its completeness or appropriateness for a particular purpose.  Northwest Diagnostic Clinic, PA, its physicians and staff are neither responsible nor liable for any claim, loss or damage resulting from use of information received solely through e-mail, without an in-person consultation.
